Google is starting a program called the “Google Impact Challenge”. This initiative will involve $20 million dollars in grants donated to non-profits who seek to help people with disabilities.

These organization’s objectives are to lower costs and make assistive technology more available, which helps people with disabilities live a more independent lifestyle. Technologies included are prosthetics made from 3D printing, and auditory prototypes.

The things that can be made with a 3D printer never cease to amaze me. The YC library has many resources to assist you in your 3D printing endeavors.
