Book Review: Spying on Whales

Whales “live 99 percent of their lives underwater, far away from continuous contact with people and beyond most of our observational tools.” This book gives us abundant information about the evolution of whales, their current situation, and future prospects. The author, a paleontologist, tells the story of chasing whales both living and extinct. You’ll notice the lack of illustrations, but it is easy to look up additional information on the internet. This is an easy read that packs in lots of information.

Available at the Prescott Campus Library.
