Book Review: Just in Case

If you’re a worrier, this book might appeal to you. Or perhaps it will just drive you over the edge. Just in Case is a manual that guides you through preparations for a wide variety of unexpected disasters, big and small. How can you deal with a loss of electric power? How about preparations for a pandemic? The author has thought through everything you need to do to cope. The first chapters help you develop the perspective and skills needed to survive, including the overall process of OAR (organize, acquire and rotate). The later chapters look at specific threats and how to manage. All in all, the book is pretty overwhelming but filled with helpful hints.

Available at the Prescott Campus Library.
