Welcome Day: Sherlock & Watson in the Library

Elementary My Dear Watson…It’s at the Library!  This year’s Welcome Back event theme was Sherlock Holmes & Watson.  Students, staff and faculty were greeted by librarians dressed up as characters from the Sherlock Holmes books and movies.

Students were able to enjoy tea provided by Friends of the Library and munch on cookies while learning about all the services available to them at the Library and through TeLS. A few even came in costume but those without costumes were not left out.  They had the opportunity to don a top hat and grab a mustache to pose with friends at the photo booth.

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend.  The Library’s Welcome Back event is such a wonderful opportunity for staff and faculty to mingle with our students and show we care about their success at Yavapai College!
